Board of Director's Meeting Minutes

 
Tim opened our meeting at 7:40 PM as the 2nd Fall Cruise-in ended. We had 34 paying entries. Tim thanked Walt for his hard work on the event.
 
Joy gave us the treasury report. You'll have to come to a meeting to here the figures.
 
We talked about the picnic at Fort Yargo on the 18th.  Everyone should RSVP to Joy,  so there will be enough food. Be sure to bring the 3 dollars to Fort Yargo for entry to the park.
 
Tim and Walt are meeting with a representative  from the Moonshine Festival to discuss how we can help with the car show on Oct.24th, 25th and 26th. If you have your car there you can have a picture taken of you and your car. It will cost $25 and the club will get $5. It will be a nice framed picture.  Sue made the motion to get the photographer and Joy seconded it. Randy will ask if Jacky Jones can help sponsor the car show. Rich Boyd wants to sell die cast cars and help sponsor the show also. Walt will email everybody in the Charlotte club about the show. We will stuff "goody" bags at Fort Yargo for the show.
 
We had 3 new members that attended  the meeting that joined the club at the show, Edward Bearden, Rich Boyd, and Richard Hale.
 
We talked about moving the dinner meetings to a new location, maybe The Harvest Table in Dacula.  
 
Our next meeting will be Nov.8th,after the Cruise-in which is at an earlier time (10am to 3pm). It will be our last meeting of the year.
 
Bruce made the motion to adjourn, so Tim closed the meeting at 8:03PM.
