HI--
MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE A 1957 FORD CONVERTIBLE WHICH WE PURCHASED LAST YEAR. IT IS KNOWN AS A "MEXICO CAR" BECAUSE OF IT BEING ASSEMBLED HERE IN THE US AND THEN KNOCKED-DOWN AND SENT OVER TO MEXICO, THE CAR IS IN WONDERFUL CONDITION AND HAS A GOLD VIN PLATE AND SAYS MADE IN MEXICO RIGHT ON IT. THE VIN NUMBERS JIVE WITH THE WINDOW PLATE AND EVERYTHING ELSE. THE VIN PLATE HAS NOT BEEN ALTERED WITH OR REMOVED AND REPLACED.
WE ARE TRYING TO FIND OUT THE HISTORY OF THIS "MEXICO KNOCKDOWN" BUT CAN'T FIND OUT MUCH ABOUT IT. I GOT YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS FROM A PREVIOUS CONTACT THAT TOLD ME YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO HELP US OUT. ANY INFORMATION AND OR CONTACTS YOU COULD GIVE US WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED SO WE HAVE THE STORY TO GO ALONG WITH THE CAR.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME AND ANY REPLY WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.
